Purpose:
The Wyoming Board of CPAs' mission is to
ensure consumers of accounting services are protected by requiring CPAs and CPA
firms to meet the highest level of professional competence through:
- verification of education and experience requirements
- requiring continuing professional education
- responding to consumer complaints
The Board determines eligibility for those who apply to take the CPA exam as Wyoming candidates; works diligently to
monitor national accounting regulatory issues; consistently reviews statutes and
regulations to ensure Wyoming practitioners are held to the highest professional
standards and afforded the competitive opportunities enjoyed by accounting
professionals nationwide.
